We have been married for 10 years After years of trying to conceive we went to the fertility clinic and found out our chances are not good. While this was very hard to learn God made it clear that adoption was for us. We decided we wanted to adopt children in foster care and especially the older ones and siblings. We want to give these children a loving home and help them heal from the hurts they have been through to give them the best chance at life.

    A Lot of Charge

    July 17, 2025

    It has been a long time since I have posted an update. Last summer when we were in the middle of our home study the agency we were working with decided to drop us. Apparently they have done this to other couples in the past. After several months of searching and research we found out that the best program for us to go through is the state program for Kentucky. We had to start over from the beginning but the classes and home study do not coat anything. We are about half way done with our home study now. I will post another update when we are moving to the end of the home study.

    Home Study Is Going

    Hello everyone. Thanks again for all the donations. We are now moving through the home study. This is when things are going to start getting expensive. I would appreciate everyone's prayers and sharing our page. We are excited to be back in the process after I started my new job.

    Hit A Snag

    August 3, 2023

    Hi Everyone,
    I wanted to give an update since it has been awhile. The application was approved and we went through the orientation. Unfortunately right before we were about to begin the home study I lost my job. I should have a new position soon. As soon as I am employed again we can resume the process. I appreciate the kind and generous donations we have received far. I look forward to updating you all soon that the process is moving forward again.

    Application Done and Approved

    We have gotten through the application process and been approved. Next step is the home study. We have a lot of things to do during this process so please pray for us. Thanks to all who have donated and supported us. A lot more to go but it is starting to feel like this is really going to happen.
