We have BIG news! We're adopting a baby!
We have kept our hearts open to adoption throughout our marriage, and God suddenly said now is the time. With just under three months notice before this wonderful baby's due date, we were chosen to have this baby placed in our family. We went through the home study and all that is on our end as quickly as we could, and are now seeing the bills piling up.
We have less than a month until this little one's due date, and we're a bit anxious about the financial side of things since we weren't expecting to be spending so much only a couple of months ago. The total cost is looking to be around $20,000.
We are doing our best to apply for grants so as to not have to dip into our retirement funds. We are also asking for your help in raising up to $10,000 toward this cost.
Whatever you choose to do, please pray for this little baby, their biological parents, and us as we bring this unexpected blessing into our family.
