Josh & Rachel Millard

Our names are Josh and Rachel. We've been married for thirteen years and always knew we wanted children. We adopted our daughter Haisley a little over two years ago and we have fallen more in love with her every day! Haisley made us a tiny family and we are loving every minute of being her parents. We knew from the very moment we brought Haisley home that one day we would give her a sibling. Adoptions are a marvelous blessing, but they are also very expensive. We did a lot of fundraising for our adoption with Haisley and still ended up taking out a rather large loan to cover all the costs. We are still paying on that loan and have several months more to go. We just assumed once we had that loan paid off, we would get another loan and start the process over again.

You can imagine how surprised we were to get a call earlier this week that Haisley has a biological sibling on the way! While we did not see this coming, and we certainly were not planning for it, we are extremely excited to be expanding our family again, sooner than expected! Baby #2 is due in less than 8 weeks! We are scrambling to come up with the necessary finances to support a second adoption and have decided to once again come to you, our family and friends, for assistance. We know money is a necessary evil, and while there aren't many of us who have loads of extra cash laying around, every little bit helps.
