We are beyond excited to share that our family is growing through adoption! 👏👏👏

**And as of April 6, 2026, we are officially “match ready” and considered a Waiting Family!!**

We are the Montsingers - Lorianne, Luke, and our daughter, Talie - and adoption is what God has placed on our hearts to grow our family. After much prayer, we stepped forward in faith, trusting Him with every part of this journey.

Since becoming parents to Talie five years ago, God has taught us something deeply meaningful, the necessity of community. One of my favorite books says, “Life in community is no less than a necessity for us. It is an inescapable must that determines everything we do and think.”

Looking back, we can clearly see how God uprooted our family from Matthews, NC to Lake Wylie, SC to prepare our hearts for this journey. What once felt like a big leap of faith has become one of the most humbling and beautiful experiences of our lives. We are so grateful for the people who have loved and shaped us, both where we came from and where we are now.

We have already seen God’s provision in this journey in such tangible ways, especially through the gift of community. He has surrounded us with people who have supported, encouraged, and walked alongside us every step of the way.

And the most special part is this is not just our journey. Our entire family is now a waiting family. Not just us, but our extended family too. We are all joyfully waiting, full of anticipation and faith, trusting God together for the child He has already chosen.

We have completed our application and home study with our agency, and now we wait.

As we step into this next chapter, we would love to invite you to be part of our story through prayer. We truly believe God works through His people, and it means so much to know we are not walking this alone.

We ask for intentional prayer for our baby’s birth mother and her family. She is already deeply loved by God and is an incredibly important part of this story. Please pray that she would be surrounded by peace, wisdom, and compassionate support, that she would feel seen, valued, and never alone.

This journey has already required meaningful sacrifice for our family, and we are trusting God to continue providing each step of the way. We don’t know when or how our baby will come home, but we are full of hope because we know God is already at work, writing something beautiful.

Somewhere, our child’s story is already unfolding, and we are trusting Him until our paths meet.

Talie is SO excited to become a big sister, and watching her joy and faith has made this journey even more special.
