Thank you for visiting our page! We are excited to share we are in the process of adopting a baby girl! The birth mom is due August 11th and we couldn’t be more excited! We have always had a heart for adoption but after a few unsuccessful pregnancies and no concrete answers after seeing specialists, we feel the Lord has called us to grow our family in this way.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowd-funding site. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have a set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms parents.

Your donations will be used to pay for the Home Study fees, the adoption attorney fees and to hold our place with the agency we have been working with in the event the birth mom chooses to parent and we want to match with another birth mom.

We hope by inviting you into the process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up.

    34 Week Update

    June 4, 2026

    Dear Friends,

    Just wanted to give you a brief update on where we are at with the adoption. Mariyah is 34 weeks now. The baby is healthy but her legs were measuring short at the last appointment and Mariyah has a surplus of amniotic fluid. They are sending her to a high risk clinic. If you could please pray for Mariyah, I know she having a lot of anxiety about labor and delivery and the pregnancy now being classified as high-risk.

    Also, our church held a fundraiser dinner with a silent auction for us last week and we raised a good portion of the funds needed for the adoption. We've also received a couple of personal checks from very close friends and family that are not shown on this page. We are at about $20,000 at this point. If you would consider helping us get to our $25,000 goal we would be forever grateful. If it looks like we are at or above the $25k goal, SHOULD YOU STILL GIVE? YES! If Mariyah chooses to parent it will go to the agency we were working with so we can match with another birth mom or AdoptTogether's non-profit. Remember, your donations are tax-deductible.

    Mariyah goes to her appointment with the high risk clinic next week. I will post another update around then. Thanks for all of your support!
