We have BIG news; we’re adopting a newborn! Due to the health complications and trauma experienced with Alyssa’s labor and delivery when bringing our boy into the world, we have decided that adoption is the safest option. We are beyond excited to grow our family and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new baby into our home.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you that adoption related costs for Domestic adoption-related costs can easily total up to $50,000. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that can overwhelm adoptive parents. While we plan to move forward with the adoption no matter what, any assistance no matter how small, would be extremely helpful.
