We have BIG news! We are adopting a baby!
Hello, we are the Murrays! We have been married for 4 years now and both have a big heart for family. Although our nieces and nephews mean the world to us, we desire children to call our own. Even before we were married we had it in our hearts to welcome a child into our life through adoption. Alisha spent 6 years overseas and always dreamed of adopting. We talked about this from the beginning of our relationship and always knew it would be apart of our story. We were married in 2019, and decide to work on starting a family naturally. After suffering through 2 miscarriage's, we began to pray to God and seek out our next steps, we feel strong that adoption is the next step for us!
We are so excited to enter into this chapter and explore the world of adoption. We long for the child we will call our own one day. We also look forward to the opportunity to come along side with other adoptive families and friends we may meet along the way!

We are literally just waiting....
We received a little update from our social worker that there are 3 possible moms waiting to make what will most likely be the hardest decision of their life. Adoption... life... this choice is so honorable and we are patiently waiting on the other side of that decision whether it is in a month or a year. I hope she knows she is loved, I hope she knows she is supported. Our prayers are going our to our one day birth mom as she is the real hero in our story! <3
Lots has happened the past few months, we managed to pull off an amazing fundraiser thanks to many of our dear friends and family! We raised an additional $5,000! This was put towards making our profile and paying our agency outreach fee. We were so overwhelmed and blessed by everyone who showed their support in this amazing endeavor we have set out on called adoption! We were also able to launch our t shirt brand called Arlo Wear! You can see this at www.arlowearclothing.com The HOPE shirt is part of our faith based collection that will continue to give back as people by and wear this shirt. Our hope is that is will help fund our adoption as well as for others in the future, as a pay it forward idea!
Even though this whole journey has been in our hearts longer, we officially started it 5 months ago. It's hard to believe that we will be presenting our profile to expecting mothers soon. Even though I feel like I can't wait another second sometimes, I know God's timing is perfect and Adam reassures me of that often :) We are so excited to enter onto the second phase of creating our profile! Please keep us in your prayers and keep our future baby/or babies and their birth mother in your prayers as we move forward! Another step closer to our forever baby!

Today Adam and I did rock paper scissors to decide of we should buy a crib I've been looking at! It went on sale and I won rock paper scissors! So you guessed it, we bout a crib! I am so ready to be able to hold our little one in my arms!! We will meet our social worker this week, so please be praying for us as we work to complete our home study! ❤️
We feel like we just completed level one in this video game of life aka adoption story! Our Application process is done and we are waiting for our home study process to begin! Its about to get crazy!! I am most excited for this portion, because it will be paperwork mixed with in person meetings and that is just a lot more fun for me! We can not be more grateful and excited! Thank you for all the love and support so far! We feel it! <3
