We have BIG news! We are adopting a baby!

Hello, we are the Murrays! We have been married for 4 years now and both have a big heart for family. Although our nieces and nephews mean the world to us, we desire children to call our own. Even before we were married we had it in our hearts to welcome a child into our life through adoption. Alisha spent 6 years overseas and always dreamed of adopting. We talked about this from the beginning of our relationship and always knew it would be apart of our story. We were married in 2019, and decide to work on starting a family naturally. After suffering through 2 miscarriage’s, we began to pray to God and seek out our next steps, we feel strong that adoption is the next step for us!

We are so excited to enter into this chapter and explore the world of adoption. We long for the child we will call our own one day. We also look forward to the opportunity to come along side with other adoptive families and friends we may meet along the way!

    We want to thank you ALL for the love and support as we've been walking through this adoption process, we are so proud and excited to announce that we have been placed with a beautiful healthy baby boy! Although the process isn't quite complete we are grateful for our sweet boy to have and to hold!     ONE YEAR LATER

    October 16, 2025

    As of September we have been waiting a full year for a match with our beautiful and brave birth mother! We are so excited to be at this point, we are not only one day closer but one year closer! With each passing day it feels like eternity, we made this little video while up north this summer, each thing we do, we just can't wait to experience with our future baby! Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support as we wait!

    Purpose in the waiting

    I thought I'd write a little update since its been 6 months since our last big fundraiser and a whole year since we've began the adoption process! Man time flies when your having fun! How are we already back into spring time! Spring seems like such a hopeful time of year, there is new life all around us! For us Michigan folks we are coming out of the long dark winter months. For Adam and I we've been through several ups and downs as we wait to be matched with a birthmother. There has been some close calls and exciting "almost" moments, these can feel like a tease but we never doubt the Lord holds every situation close to his heart and will continue to be the author of this beautiful story. Please continue to pray that the perfect match will happen and that the sweet little bundle of love will be protected and kept safe until we get to bring him or her home.

    Patience is a virtue

    Our parent finder profile is live!!!! This is such a huge milestone in our journey!
    We are literally just waiting....
    We received a little update from our social worker that there are 3 possible moms waiting to make what will most likely be the hardest decision of their life. Adoption... life... this choice is so honorable and we are patiently waiting on the other side of that decision whether it is in a month or a year. I hope she knows she is loved, I hope she knows she is supported. Our prayers are going our to our one day birth mom as she is the real hero in our story! <3

    God is our provider and sometimes he uses people!

    Lots has happened the past few months, we managed to pull off an amazing fundraiser thanks to many of our dear friends and family! We raised an additional $5,000! This was put towards making our profile and paying our agency outreach fee. We were so overwhelmed and blessed by everyone who showed their support in this amazing endeavor we have set out on called adoption! We were also able to launch our t shirt brand called Arlo Wear! You can see this at www.arlowearclothing.com The HOPE shirt is part of our faith based collection that will continue to give back as people by and wear this shirt. Our hope is that is will help fund our adoption as well as for others in the future, as a pay it forward idea!
