We have an exciting update!

We did not anticipate our family journey to include adoption but we have felt the call on our hearts the past few months.

Cassidy has always had a softer heart for adoption since a child, as she had had multiple friends who were adopted. But more recently, videos and stories of those fighting for the unborn have come into play. Stories of mothers choosing life for their children, especially in today’s culture of abortion, have truly moved Cassidy. In prayer and reflection, and discussion with Paul, we have discerned a path to adoption.

At a Christian work conference during worship, Cassidy felt the Holy Spirit lay upon her heart that she would have a daughter. And through discernment we believe that adoption is the path in which God will provide such a blessing.

This decision was not a light one, and we know the trials and tests raising a child comes with, as we have two sons ourselves. But when the Lord calls upon us such a task as raising another blessed child, we will answer, and we will say YES!

The financial cost of services to adopt a child are not small. Though we are committed to save and do all we can for the costs ourselves, we know that we can not complete this journey on our own, and that is why we share our story, and our hearts.
