Camilo and I have always dreamed of having a family—one filled with love, laughter, and a life shared together. For several years, we tried to grow our family biologically, but that path wasn’t part of our journey. While that season brought its share of heartbreak and challenges, it also opened our hearts to something that had quietly been with us all along: adoption.
Adoption isn’t new to our story—it’s deeply woven into it. Camilo is adopted, and because of his experience, we’ve always held a special place in our hearts for the beauty, strength, and unconditional love that adoption brings. His story gave us a unique and personal perspective, one that allowed us to fully embrace this path not as a backup, but as something truly meant for us.
In many ways, this moment feels like coming full circle. We’re honored and deeply grateful to be in a place where we can offer a child a safe, loving, joy-filled home. Adoption wasn’t our Plan B—it was the answer that had been waiting for us all along.
