We have BIG news! We are adopting! We are beyond excited and we are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As a part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more! This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow!

    Homestudy Underway!

    July 23, 2023

    Thank you all for your continued prayers and your support! We have been so busy filling out ALLL types of paperwork about so many things we didn’t realized were a part of this journey until we were in it! We have also been so busy working on getting the last of our major projects finished for our first homestudy visit!

    We were so blessed to be able to make our first Agency payment and have our first meeting with our social worker and domestic specialist. It went great and we feel so at peace with our choice in agency. It’s just been another wonderful confirmation of the right step for our family!

    Our Financial Responsibility

    Hey all! We are so blessed by your support so far! We wanted to be transparent with you and share our fee schedule and a picture of what we are trying to accomplish on our way to building our family!

    This is our fee breakdown for our agency. Additional costs of our legal finalization and our travel costs to go pickup baby and our ICPC stay (up to 3 weeks stay out of state in interstate adoptions) are our responsibility on top of our agency fees. We are estimating our total cost to be about $40,000.
