Amy Pickard
is adopting a child from United States of America
In August of 2019 our family, along with 4 others, received calls asking if we could take in 8 children, 2 girls and 6 boys ages 1-10. They had been removed by DCS due to severe abuse and neglect. Guardianship was obtained for 7 and 1 was accepted into foster care. Multiple families and resources were needed to take in the children because the abuse caused so much trauma.

We have worked so incredibly hard to give all of these children safety, structure, and love. Parenting children with trauma is hard, but worth it. God has really lavished his love on all of us. These kids have blossomed into the most resilient and sweetest humans. All the families have clung together and continue to get the children together at least monthly.
After 3 long years of fighting, parental rights have been surrendered and we are finally able to adopt them! We have found a social worker and lawyer who have graciously offered to lower what they charge because there are so many children. We are all so ready to move forward together.
Any money given will be split up equally among the children. Thank you so much!
