We have BIG news!
On Friday evening, we met with an expectant mom & she is choosing us to adopt her baby GIRL!
We are so happy & excited. We cannot wait to meet her. The baby is due in late February (but likely to arrive sooner)- so she is coming quite quickly. We are doing everything we can to prepare to bring this sweet angel into our home.
Tuesday we received some news that there will be additional attorney fees (additional to the ones that we anticipated) that we could not have prepared for. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more- and we are closing in on that amount already. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden.
While we are so excited to welcome this baby girl into our lives, the news today has left us concerned about the future. We have always said, that adoption is humbling. So we are here today to humbly ask for your help.
