The secret is out, after two years of fostering and 7 children served, we are growing our family through ADOPTION! This journey has been the truest testament that grief and joy can coexist. Grief, as infertility is a thief, yet joy that we get the chance to have our lives forever changed by adoption.

Wow, what the last 20 hours have brought to our lives is unspeakable. We received an emergent call that an expectant mama’s labor was developing QUICKLY and that we’d need to get one a plane as baby was expected to be delivered next week.
We said YES, and trusted in God’s faithfulness and timing. We received a call that first mama did not wish to see multiple families and asked our agency to pick a family they were confident in raising her child. THEY CHOSE US!
We don’t know the gender (we’re waiting until we arrive at the hospital) but we are so overjoyed. We cannot wait to grow our family and for this blessing.

With how rapid this case has progressed, all fees are to be paid in full on MONDAY and several of the grants we’ve applied for we no longer are eligible for as baby is HERE. With this deadline on top of flights, hotel, rental car, meals, and gas for a week in NEW YORK we could use all of the help we can get. $5 goes a long long way!! Our hearts are excited to share that we are expanding our opportunity to connect with an expectant mama by partnering with a second adoption agency local to Texas! This agency places children born in Texas to Texas families ONLY! We feel so blessed to be able to partner with this agency as we prepare baby boy or girl home this year!
