We have Big News!
We are in the beginning stages of adopting twin girls from Africa!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome them into our home. God has clearly opened doors for international adoption and spoken to us in many different ways confirming and showing us His heart in this.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $70,000 or more since it is essentially two adoptions. This is why we have set a goal of $70,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up.

Update 5
Home study completed
June 30, 2026We are officially done with our home study! It is signed, completed and approved. What a relief it was to be done with that step! It all came together by Gods grace and with His impeccable timing! Now we are working on completing our dossier documents, another fingerprint/background check, sending in our I-800 A application and finishing up our grant applications and waiting to hear back. They are estimating this to take about three months. We have a $9,745 invoice to pay to our agency that we could really use help with. Any amount will help us to bring our twin girls home. Thank you for supporting us and following along on this journey.

Homestudy visits complete
June 1, 2026We have just finished up the home study in home visits provided by the social workers. They are currently writing up the report and should be completed in the next few weeks. Things are moving along steadily. Please continue to pray for our next steps, grant approvals, and submission of our dossier documents.

Homestudy Phase 1
April 16, 2026We have completed our homestudy paperwork for phase 1 🎉 We have one more phase to go which includes paperwork for our financial info, tax info, proof of income and doctors physicals. Each phase costs $1,100. Once we get the homestudy completed we can apply for more grants, so please keep those prayers going for a smooth process and grant approvals! Thanks again for following our story and for supporting us in this journey.

Home study update
March 27, 2026Thank you for your prayers and sweet encouragement! We finally found a home study agency that is located nearby. We have begun work on the required paperwork and education for phase one. Please keep those prayers coming for consistency in communication, timely processes, and stamina for the long haul! We love you and appreciate your support and faith!

The Paperwork Phase
March 21, 2026We are currently in the paperwork stage of the adoption process. We are working on gathering important documents, filling out applications, frequently checking emails, asking questions, getting documents notarized, and completing adoption education requirements.
We need to finalize a home study agency that provides services in our state which is the first step to get things moving. Please keep us in your prayers as we make critical decisions, stay focused, ask the right questions, develop godly connections, and remain patient with the process.
