Hello! We are Megan and Chase. We have recently begun our journey to adopt a child from Bulgaria and are very excited to grow our family!
We’ve chosen adoption because we want to give a loving home to a disadvantaged and vulnerable child who has been waiting for a family. We’ve chosen international adoption because we want a child with disabilities to have access to medical care and/or therapy that is not as available in their home country. Our child will likely be toddler-early elementary school age and will also likely experience some disabilities. We will be bringing our child home within 1-3 years, although the process could take up to five years. We are also open to sibling groups. We don’t care how long it takes or how challenging it may be; we are just so excited to become parents!
As you probably know, adoption, especially international adoption, is very expensive. We have just begun scraping the surface of our adoption fees. We plan to utilize grants from our adoption agency and adoption loans, but we would be so very grateful for any financial support as we get further along in the adoption process.
