Hello Friends and Family,
We are ready to start the next phase of our adoption journey. After completing our Home Study with Adoption Assistance in December 2022, we are beginning the faith building task of fundraising! We are hoping to adopt not just one, but two children.
We are very excited and doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome them into our home.
It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We have had many friends and family so generously offer to help financially, so we have decided to create a crowdfunding page. This provides a place where, if you wish to help support us financially, you can donate and the money is tax deductible. We then apply to receive the money designated for us through this platform.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up. We will be providing updates here and on our Facebook page at Richeson Family Adoption.
