My name is Meagan and my husband Jeffory and I have been married 2.5 years. I am a physical therapist and Jeffory is a veteran who is currently in nursing school. We have been trying for 2.5 years to conceive without success. We have both been through all of the testing multiple times and have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We have gone through multiple rounds of medicated cycles which did not result in pregnancy. We have spent thousands on testing and procedures. This year, we were two weeks away from beginning IVF, finally on insurance that would cover it, when it was discovered after starting birth control that it is unsafe to continue the process due to my reaction to the hormones and issues with blood clotting causing stroke risk. We want nothing more than to have a family of our own whether that be surrogacy or adoption but both options are very costly and currently out of reach.
