Julie & Rob Schneebele

are adopting a child from United States of America

As many of you are aware, we have decided to expand our family by adopting a baby!

The journey to become parents to Robin was very difficult for us - emotionally, physically, and mentally. After taking many things into consideration, we have decided to adopt our second child. Robin has big sister energy, and Levi and Winston would love another baby to watch over.

As exciting as this journey is, it is very expensive. We are unable to finance this without help. We do not want to start this child’s life with a mountain of debt. We are humbly asking for any financial support that can be provided.

For full transparency, here are some of the costs that go into an adoption:

$2,000 for a home study.

$2,000 for adoption education, trainings, and adoption profile & video services.

$12,000 for matching program including marketing, advertising, networking, and outreach.

$38,000 for agency fee (client casework, biological parent services, hospital discharge, legal custody, coordination of adoption, coordination of legal services, biological parent counseling, post placement visits).

$4,000-15,000 for legal fees (vary depending on the state the biological parent resides).

NOTE: the payments are made in 4 large lump sums, all prior to the baby being placed in our home - payment plans are not an option.

Thank you for considering helping our family on this journey. We appreciate our village more than words can convey.

Love, Julie, Rob, Robin, Levi, & Winston

    Waiting for a Match!

    July 8, 2026

    Hi everyone!!

    Quick update on our progress:

Our home study report was completed as of June 6th. We are now waiting to be matched with an expectant mom. The agency predicts an average of 1 year to placement after the report is finalized 🙌🏻

We are being sent profiles of expectant moms as they are presented to our agency. If we feel it is a good fit, we then submit our profile to the expectant mom to review. If she feels we are a good fit, we then have a match!

Rob and I have chosen not to share any news until we have a match - it is a lot emotionally to share every time we send our profile and do not get picked. Even after we have a match, a placement still is not guaranteed, but then it will be nice to have support if it does not happen.

We are in the thick of our Funds2Orgs shoe drive! Thank you to everyone who has spread the word, put shoes out for us to pick up, or brought shoes over to us. As of tonight, we are almost a third of the way to our lofty goal (the goal is 100 bags of 25 pairs of shoes)! Our drive is running through mid-August, so there is plenty of time to go through your closets 😉

Once again, we would not be able to do this without you, our incredible village. THANK YOU.

    Love love love,
Julie (and Rob, Robin, Levi, and Winston)

    Goal Reached!!

    May 29, 2026

    Hi Everyone,

Our goal has been met!! We are completely in awe. Thank you all so much for your contributions, heartfelt messages, and words of support. We don’t think words will ever be adequate enough to express our gratitude.

We have completed our home study and are waiting on the official report! We are currently working on our profile book for birth mothers to learn more about our family and if she would like us to adopt her child. We also have a shoe drive fundraiser we are doing through mid-August.

We will keep raising funds and providing updates along the way.

    Love,
    The Schneebele Family

    Making Progress!

    May 1, 2026

    Hi All,

First off: WOW. We are overwhelmed by all of the support and kindness that has been extended our way since making our adoption journey public.

Secondly: We’re getting there everyone! We have all of our clearances, medical paperwork, financial paperwork, training certificates, 52 page (!!!!) application, and autobiographies completed for our home study application! We sent everything in to our agency, Haven Adoptions & Family Services. Next, we will be set up with a social worker who will come to our house for the 2 hour home study evaluation.

Thirdly: Rob and I met with the woman who will be putting our profile book and video together. We have to gather pictures that highlight us as a family and answer questions that she will put into a 18-22 page book to show expectant moms. We also have to record ourselves answering questions which she will edit into a video to show expectant moms.

Thank you for following our family’s journey 🥰

    Love,
    Julie, Rob, and Robin
