Hello!
After a lot of discussion, hours of prayer, and careful deliberation, we are SO excited to announce that we are adopting!
It was years ago that we started dreaming of a big, lively family, and it felt like we were on our way when we had our two sons, Ira and Esli. However, we did not plan on grappling with years of infertility and a miscarriage along the way. There were many times when we felt like giving up on this dream. We love our two boys and the life we have right now, however we have not been able to shake the feeling that someone is missing when we gather around the dinner table together.
The initial decision to adopt was a difficult one. We had to close the door on a long and trying season of our lives, grieving the vision we had for how our family would grow, and open our hearts to the possibility that God had something different in mind.
This fall we started praying, journaling, and meeting with some friends of ours who have walked the adoption journey before and began to feel a new hope welling up within us. As we started leaning into the idea of adoption we felt ourselves falling more and more in love with this child that we hadn't even met yet.
We cannot express how excited we (and our boys!) are to finally begin this journey! We want to welcome you to be a part of our family's story, and hope you see yourselves as part of the community we are building around our new little family member!
