Hello friends and family!

We are excited to share some pretty big news with you…

We are adopting a baby!

Our answer to the Lord has always been yes to adoption. Throughout dating, engagement and marriage, adoption has been central for us, and we knew if the Lord called us, we would say yes. We believe we are called to be storytellers of adoption and continue to bridge the gap between grief and loss and hope and restoration. We are thrilled and expectant to see all that the Lord will do through this process. He has so kindly been writing this story for us and we are filled with joy at His faithfulness to grow our family through adoption.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Believe it or not, adoption costs can easily total up to $50,000+. These costs include state legal fees, home study, attorney fees, agency fees, post placement appointments, etc. We have set a goal of $40,000 to ease the financial burden that often can overwhelm adoptive parents.

Our prayer is that the Lord will call other believers to boldly come alongside us in this process, and that by doing so you’re able to participate in the beautiful picture of the gospel happening here on earth and be a part of the strong and loving community around our child as he/she grows up. If you feel called to support our journey, donations through AdoptTogether will send you a receipt and allows you to claim it as a charitable contribution on your taxes. Whether through monetary or prayerful support, we feel beyond blessed by your kindness.

We are so grateful for your part in this and ask for continued prayers for our family, the expecting mother and our future baby.

The verse we are praying and remembering is Isaiah 43:1 “I have called you by name, you are mine.” We know and believe this child has been called and claimed by Jesus and nothing can thwart the plans the Lord has for the life of our child.
