Help Us Bring Two Little Souls Home Support Our Family’s Journey Through Adoption
Hi, I’m Himanshu — a husband, father of two young boys (ages 3 and 6), and a recent U.S. citizen. Last year, tragedy struck our extended family in India when two young children (9 & 12 yrs old) lost both their parents-my elder brother. Me & my wife (Sheffali Kundra) stepped in to care for them and are now working through the legal adoption process to bring them home to the U.S. and give them the love and stability they deserve.
This journey is especially personal for me. I lost my father when I was just 12, and my elder brother became a father figure — ensuring I had access to a good education and the chance to build a better life. Today, as I take on the responsibility of these children, I feel I’m simply paying forward the love and support I once received.
We’ve made it halfway through the process, including receiving key approvals — but the financial burden is growing. I’m the sole earner in our household while my wife is enrolled in a two-year advanced dental program to restart her career in the U.S. Balancing work, parenting, and the complex adoption process has been overwhelming — emotionally and financially.
We’re raising $40,000 to cover legal, documentation, and travel expenses that will help unite our family across continents. Your support — in any amount — will bring us one step closer to giving these children a forever home filled with care, comfort, and hope.
With heartfelt gratitude, Himanshu & Family
