We are so excited to be adopting… again!
Since our youngest child, River, joined our family in November 2022, we have been praying about when to start a second adoption process.
A few months ago, a friend told me about a waiting child in India. “T” is a beautiful, toddler-aged little boy with some significant medical needs that are making it difficult for him to find a family. We immediately felt that he could be our son, and we are pursuing adopting him with the hope that he will, indeed, be matched with us and become our son.
We are currently in the middle of home study, and we need help getting to the next step of our adoption journey. Between agency fees, payments for background checks, psychological evaluations, trainings, and more, we expect to need to raise about $5,000 to make it to the end of our home study, at which point we will have the ability to apply for other financial assistance like grants and adoption loans. Our prayer is that we will have no unnecessary delays in this process so that “T” can have a family as soon as possible. You can help us avoid financial delays by donating to our adoption fund.

Update 3
We're Moving Forward!
October 29, 2025The past few weeks have been extremely productive! We now have an official, completed home study, we applied for part 1 of immigration for our child, we sent out all our out-of-state documents to be authenticated, and we applied for passports for our 3 children who do not have current passports!
We are also gearing up for (what we hope will be) our largest and most labor-intensive fundraiser - an online craft auction!
We are moving ahead full-steam right now, which is really encouraging! A few steps that we thought may delay us several months have been resolved within a few weeks, and we're thanking God that we're well on our way to going and getting our little boy!

June 2, 2025Thank you so much to those of you who participated in Bryarton Farm's fundraising campaign for our adoption! Sara and I have been close friends since we were in process for our first adoption and they were in process for their second, and we are so blessed that her community has rallied to raise over $1,000 toward our adoption!
Our psychological evaluation is on Wednesday, and home visit for our home study is just over a week away, and our kiddos are going for sleepovers this weekend so Jeremiah and I can knock out our required training, clean the house, and finish up a few bit of paperwork.
We are waiting for our out-of-state background checks to come in, and appreciate prayers that they arrive before our home visit day so that we can officially be done with all the home study prep and move on to dossier stage - and a LOT more paperwork!

Mini-Milestone Met!
May 22, 2025Wow, thanks for all your support! We now have raised over $600 in our Adopt Together account! $600 is the cost of our psychological evaluation (scheduled for next week!) that we need for our home study - this is the single largest expense we have left for home study phase, and it is now covered by your generosity!
Our home visit is scheduled for June 11, and we are hoping and praying that will be the final piece of our home study. We are waiting for out-of-state background checks to come in, which is the biggest variable on our home study timeline right now - please join us in praying they will be here by June 11! If we are able to have everything together by then, our hope is that by the end of June we will be waiting for CARINGS (India) approval - then the step after that will be matching with our sweet boy!
