Hello, Our story may be common to some but it's very unique to us. We meet our son when he was 3 weeks old and I (Stevonne) was just babysitting him along with his older sister. After some time Anthony and I were asked to adopt him. We agreed because even before we gave birth to our other 3 children, adoption had been something we had discussed as doing but after some time not sure it was still possible for us. After having our son for some time and having custody of him. We then spend over a year in an unfortunate custody battle for our son. But now all of that is over and we are here ready to make this process complete. We love our son and no matter what he is a member of our family and couldn't imagine life without him. We currently have a difficulty with completing the process due to lawyer fees and needing to complete payment for the homestudy prior to the finalizing adoption court date. We hope you find it in your heart to donate to help complete our family because any penny helps. Thank you in your support, encouragement and prayers during this time of our labor of love.
Hey everyone! It's been very busy in the Southerland house lately but we have exciting news. We have our finalization date! August 29, 2023 we will be heading to court to make A'Shon a Southerland on paper, he has always been one in our hearts!
Our homestudy has been officially approved!!!
Only think left is to get our date for probate court and pay off the homestudy!

Exciting news, we have finally completed our homestudy!!! Now we wait to get our finalization court date! One step closer! We are definitely excited about this!!!
It's all about the small things and we are happy to have finished our last class and are one step closer to completing our homestudy!!!
