We are ADOPTING a child! This is something we have always been interested in doing, and we finally felt like the time is right in our lives to take the step into parenthood. We couldn't be more excited! That said, we are choosing to pursue a domestic newborn adoption, and at this time we are setting our focus on a GIRL!
This is a very expensive process, both in terms of all the paperwork and certifications required (home-study certification including background checks, fingerprinting, medical exams, home visits, and CPR medical training), but the big cost is the attorney fees required both for us to be matched with birth mothers, as well as the expenses involved in supporting the birth, navigating all the legal fees involved with finalizing parental rights, and our travel out of state to attend the birth bring our new baby home! Any help you might be willing to give us along our journey and to help pair us with a beautiful newborn in need of adoption would mean so much to us, and will literally change our lives.
