Hi, we are Joe & Tori Stanford. We are 25 & 26, Joe works for Cherokee County Detention Center as a lieutenant & I’m a med tech at a senior care facility. We met in 2020 at moss mini mart while I was working there, we instantly connected & started talking. We became official in September 2021 & got married in March 2022.
We have 2 girl, Heaven (19) & Autumn (14) Heaven also works for CCDC, Autumn does Winter guard & Color Guard.
We have always wanted to grow our family since we met, but due to fertility issues we can’t grow our family traditionally. I’ve struggled with over bleeding while having periods to where i couldn’t work, couldn’t even be human after going to cancer doctors & having many test ran, we decided on an IUD with a possible Hysterectomy at 25. We have come terms with that & believe God has bigger plans for us.
In December of 2023 we decided to start the adoption process, within 2 days the agency had contacted us with a possible placement, the next day we spoke with the foster mother & the following day we met the children & came home with 2 more children.
Since then we are adapting to having 4 kids & growing within our selves.
Since then we have been expediting our home study, background checks etc. our home study has been completed & dss is now waiting on our agency to send over the home study.
The agency has quoted is $20,000 for our sibiling adoption. If you can donate we greatly appreciated it! We cant wait to officially add 2 more Stanfords to our family🤍
