We are excited to share with you that we are adopting! Our desire has always been to adopt internationally, and the Lord has led us to adopt specifically from Bulgaria. As we journey through the adoption process, we are trusting God to provide the necessary funds and to prepare our hearts spiritually as we bring a new life into our home. It may surprise you that adoption-related costs can be about $40,000 or more! This is why we would like to invite you to come along with us on this journey as you give and pray!

    Adoption Yard Sale

    January 30, 2023

    We had our adoption yard sale this past weekend, and it was a huge success!! We were able to raise a total of $1,949 between items purchased and donations given beyond that! GOD IS SO GOOD! We are so grateful for everyone who donated items for the yard sale, those who helped us set up and tear down, and all who came out to buy some treasures and/or give a monetary gift! We are truly blessed by each of you for your love, support, and prayers! Thank you so much for being a huge part of our adoption story and helping us bring our little one home.

    As of now, we have been able to raise a total of $2,379 for our second agency fee that will be due upon completion of our home study! That means we are OVER halfway to reaching our next goal! Praise be to God! All glory and honor goes to Him!

    This Wednesday, we will have our Orientation Interview call. Lord willing, we will begin our home study shortly after!

    Prayer Requests: Please pray our interview will go well this week! Continue to pray the Lord will give us clarity and wisdom as we continue on this journey. Pray the Lord will continue to provide as needs and deadlines arise. Pray that through this adoption process, our family will grow closer to each other and to the Lord! Pray that we will be stronger as a family unit than ever before. Pray for Jason and I as we navigate parenting a child with possible traumas, health needs, and/or delays. Pray for our little one's birth parents who are hurting. Pray for their salvation! Pray the evil one will keep away! We know who has the victory! JESUS ALONE. Pray for our little one - first and foremost: his/her salvation, and his/her health & safety. Pray for the caregivers (orphanage/foster home). Pray for the governing authorities in both the US and Bulgaria - for the process to go smoothly and paperwork to be completed in a timely manner. Pray for our upcoming home study. Pray for Lifeline Children's Services as they help us navigate through this adoption process.

    Orientation & First Agency Fee

    Hi friends and family!

    We have some really exciting updates for you! We have completed our first round of paperwork, as well as our Welcome Call. The next step before our home study is our Orientation Interview that will take place within a week or two!

    Because of your generosity, we have been able to reach our first goal of $4,275 for our first agency fee!! We have not even had our adoption yard sale yet, and the Lord has proved Himself faithful time and time again since we began this process! We are now able to begin raising for our second agency fee that will help cover our home study! GOD IS SO GOOD! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus! Thank you for walking this journey alongside of us, and thank you for the many prayers we know are being lifted up for us and for our little one!
