We have big news - we are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We are prayerfully asking the Lord to go before us in this process!

As part of the adoption process, we have started a fundraising campaign. It may surprise you that adoption costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. That is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. Your donations through this page will be tax-deductible and will go directly to the adoption agency. We covet your prayers as we walk through this process.

    2026 Stubelt Adoption Update

    Friends and family,

    It has been about a year since we began this adoption journey, and throughout it all we have seen the Lord’s faithfulness, provision, and care. This past year has been filled with paperwork, waiting, and hopeful anticipation as the process continues to move forward.

    We are excited to share that we have officially entered the matching phase of our adoption process. This means that at any point, we could receive a referral for a child. While we hope this happens soon, we also know the timeline could take many more months. Even so, we are choosing to wait with hopeful and joyful anticipation for what (and who!) the Lord has for us.
    We want to extend our deepest thanks to so many of you reading this right now. You have come alongside us in this process in countless ways, and we have seen the Lord's kindness because of you. To all who have given to any of our fundraisers, monthly support on our adoption website, those who are praying, and those of you simply asking how things are going, we truly could not do this without you.

    Would you join us in praying for the child who will be specifically and lovingly chosen for our family, and that we would continue to wait patiently, yet with excited expectation, trusting in God’s perfect timing?
