Everyone has heard that it takes a village to raise a child and we're reaching out to you, our village, to help make our dreams of becoming parents a reality. We're excited to announce that we're in the process of adopting a child!
The funds it takes to adopt a child and support the expectant mother can be upwards of $60,000. We have started our own process of private loans and using our savings to help cover this, but as you can imagine the financial burden is heavy.
The money that is raised will go to adoption agency and consultant fees to cover the legal process. We have selected Adoption Choice Inc as our Wisconsin agency as they are the only non profit agency in the state and welcome all types of families.
About ten years ago now we met working in the ER at St. Luke's South Shore. What started off as a great friendship has now turned into a wonderful and loving marriage. We are both Critical Care Paramedics that work in the city of Milwaukee and Racine and also have returned to working in the very same ER that we met in. We are also privileged to be the Wind Point Lighthouse Keepers and love living in the lighthouse while serving our community.
Adoption was always the way we envisioned starting our family. We have planned and prepared for this for quite some time now and need help to make our vision a reality. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and your support.
