We’re so grateful and excited to share that we’ve welcomed a baby boy into our family! Jude Caleb Tall was born on July 1st in Orlando, FL.

This all came about in a way we never could have seen coming, but it’s clear now that God was sovereign in every detail. As many of you know, we were preparing to adopt a baby girl earlier this year, but that door unexpectedly closed. It was a painful chapter, and one we had to grieve while still choosing to trust that God was still working.

A few weeks ago, we were informed by the agency we’ve been working with about an expectant mom looking to choose a family for her baby boy who was due any day. She saw our profile and she chose us. We packed up and got to Florida as fast as we could.

Now we’re home with our sweet baby boy, Jude. What felt like a surprise to us was fully known to God all along. He knew what our hearts needed, even when we didn’t. This journey has been filled with hope, heartbreak, waiting, and unexpected joy. Through it all, we’ve been surrounded by so much love and support.

We’re so grateful to our friends and family who’ve stood with us, prayed for us, and encouraged us in so many ways. We truly couldn’t have done this without you!

We’re in awe of this gift and deeply honored to be Jude’s parents, and we are forever grateful to his courageous birth mom. Our hearts are so full.

    ACTIVE: Waiting to be Matched!

    April 17, 2024

    To everyone who supported us for our Garage Sale Fundraiser, THANK YOU!!!! So many of you came out to help us or gave through this site and we were blown away by the response! Through your generosity, we now have enough funds to be able to receive and accept a case, which moves our official adoption status to "ACTIVE."
    We are beyond excited at this huge milestone, and we couldn't have done it without you all!

    We will continue local fundraising efforts as we wait to be matched. Once matched, we will know specific details regarding the case and we'll be able to update everyone with exact financial goals and timelines. Our journey is just beginning and we are humbled to have so many loved ones walking this out with us!

    Exciting updates!

    February 15, 2024

    The Home Study is COMPLETED!! We're now finished with all the initial paperwork and are cleared to receive future cases!

    We are currently working on our profile book! This will be presented to expectant mothers so they can learn more about us.

    Fundraising will be a continuous journey, but the response from all of you has been incredible!! It is a great honor to be surrounded by such a supportive community of loved ones. We've received some donations personally, so the goal has been adjusted from the original $60k need. We can't thank you enough!!

    Home Study in process!

    December 17, 2023

    We have just finished our 3rd site visit for our Home Study! All other paperwork for now has been completed. The next step in the process will be to submit for background clearances. Once those come through, we anticipate the home study report will be completed in January! This Report will be the official start of our journey and will also allow us to apply for financial grants.

    It feels great making progress and we are SO EXCITED!
