We’re Adopting!!!
This past October 29th marked 7 years of marriage. Time really does fly by. Looking back at those early days of engagement and life planning, we always assumed we'd start having kids within the first 2 years of marriage. Our timing may have been a bit off, but we believe that we are NOW entering a season for this dream of ours to come true - through adoption planning! We know that God has uniquely gifted us and given us a desire to provide a safe, supportive, and loving home to raise children. It has always been on our heart to have a BIG family and we pray you will take this journey with us! Here are 3 ways we feel you can help us the most:
PRAY. Adoption planning can be an emotional rollercoaster so more than anything we ask that you would pray! Pray for us, for the expectant mother and family, and for the child specifically.
GIVE. It’s no surprise that adopting can be expensive and we’ll need support financially. We established this web page specifically for anyone willing to give a tax-deductible gift through this 501c3 organization. The exact costs are unknown until we get matched with an expectant mother and work with her agency directly, but we also can’t be accepted until we have the financial means.
SHARE. Lastly, we ask if you would please help us share this information with friends and family! We know it will take a village and we invite all who can to join us!

To everyone who supported us for our Garage Sale Fundraiser, THANK YOU!!!! So many of you came out to help us or gave through this site and we were blown away by the response! Through your generosity, we now have enough funds to be able to receive and accept a case, which moves our official adoption status to "ACTIVE."
We are beyond excited at this huge milestone, and we couldn't have done it without you all!
We will continue local fundraising efforts as we wait to be matched. Once matched, we will know specific details regarding the case and we'll be able to update everyone with exact financial goals and timelines. Our journey is just beginning and we are humbled to have so many loved ones walking this out with us!

The Home Study is COMPLETED!! We're now finished with all the initial paperwork and are cleared to receive future cases!
We are currently working on our profile book! This will be presented to expectant mothers so they can learn more about us.
Fundraising will be a continuous journey, but the response from all of you has been incredible!! It is a great honor to be surrounded by such a supportive community of loved ones. We've received some donations personally, so the goal has been adjusted from the original $60k need. We can't thank you enough!!

We have just finished our 3rd site visit for our Home Study! All other paperwork for now has been completed. The next step in the process will be to submit for background clearances. Once those come through, we anticipate the home study report will be completed in January! This Report will be the official start of our journey and will also allow us to apply for financial grants.
It feels great making progress and we are SO EXCITED!
