We are thrilled to announce that we are growing our family through ADOPTION! Perrie and I have been married nearly 16 years, and have been blessed with two children, Hazel and William. Adoption has always been a hope for us, since our dating years. By God’s grace, we have built a loving, safe, joyful home, and we are more than ready to open our arms to more love!
As Christians, we wholeheartedly believe that children are a gift and a blessing from God! We have devoted much of our adult lives to serving and ministering to children and youth in Church, in vocations, and in our home. All four of us are thrilled to be on this adoption journey! Hazel and Will can’t wait to hug and hold a dear sibling!
When Perrie and I were newly married, we met a woman in a shop and struck up a conversation. She shared the story of growing her own family through adoption, and the deal that she and her husband had made. She said, “We agreed that if we had enough money to put one more scoop of rice into the pot, we’d adopt. We knew that we would never let money be a hindrance to opening our home and our hearts to a child.”
We are beyond excited as we do everything we can to prepare for the joy of welcoming a beautiful new life into our family. As part of our adoption process, we’ve created an opportunity for you to come alongside us in prayer and support. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total well over $35,000. As we continue to work and save funds, we have set a goal of $30,000.00 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. Our home and our hearts are wide open, friends!
