  Whoops again!

  Hey friends and family! We didn't realize that our last message would send an email out to all of you, and we are a bit embarrassed because we wished we would have been more tactful about our message that we thought was only going up on the website... whoops! We did just want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU! Truly, thank you so much. Without you, we would not have been able to take little Miles home, and we wouldn't have this tiny bundle of joy that our lives rotate around. We are so blessed to have the community... Thank you all again for helping make our dreams of having a family come true, and for blessing Miles with a loving home. We love you all! (P.S. New goal: thank you notes in the mail next week.   We messed up...

  Hey friends and family! Being that this is the first time that we have adopted, we grossly underestimated the cost... We were recently hit with additional lawyer and processing fees and we're looking for your help! We are so grateful for all you have given.   Our little boy is home! ❤️

  I’m writing this post much too late at night— it looks like I’m officially the parent of a newborn! Miles Joseph is finally home with us, and Darin and I are overjoyed beyond words. While we aren’t out of the woods just yet (the revocation period ends Monday), having Miles here in our home seems permanent. (So don’t stop those prayers from rolling in!) Adjusting to having a newborn feels like falling into a role Darin and I were always meant to have. And while I didn’t carry Miles in my womb, I am certain I was always made to be his... We only have a little more ways to go before we meet our goal, so please share this profile with friends and family that might be touched by our son’s adoption story.   He’s here!

  If you’re reading this, you’ve made a generous gift to help us bring our son home. There are no words that can express mine and Darin’s gratitude for helping us overcome the financial obstacle to adopt. Thank you so much for your generosity this Christmas. Miles Joseph Taylor was born on Christmas Eve at 9:30 PM. He is 7 lbs 3 oz and 19.5 inches. He is curious and alert- he even opened his eyes all the way only 10 minutes after being born! Birth Mama and baby are both healthy and healing. And Darin and I are settling into... Read moreour roles as parents. But we still need those prayers! The surrender papers will be signed at discharge either today 🤞 or tomorrow, and then we can officially go home with our little guy. I wish I could write more, but on only 3 hours of sleep, I fear writing something incomprehensible, so that’s it for now. Thank you all again for your generosity! God bless you and Merry Christmas!
