Our grandchild has faced more uncertainty than any child should. Through it all, one thing has become clear: they belong with us—not just for visits, but for a lifetime of love, stability, and a place to truly call home.

We never expected to be pursuing adoption at this stage in our lives, but we are incredibly grateful for the chance to give our grandchild the safe, loving home they deserve. While this journey brings us so much joy and hope, it also comes with significant legal and adoption costs.

There’s sadness in how we got here—but even more hope in where we’re going.
