We’ve gone back and forth on how to share this, because it feels both really personal and really important. The truth is our journey to growing our family hasn’t been simple. After a few years of navigating infertility, it’s held a lot of hope, a lot of waiting, and some really hard conversations about what the future might look like for us. Somewhere along the way, we had to let go of what we thought our path would be and start opening our hearts to what it could be instead.

And that’s what led us here.

We are extremely excited to announce…

WE’RE ADOPTING! 🤍

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. Somewhere out there is a little one who will one day call us family, and we can’t wait to meet them.

As we’ve stepped into this process, we’ve learned that adoption is not only emotional, but also comes with significant financial costs. Things like home study fees, agency fees, legal expenses, and travel to bring our baby home can add up quickly, often totaling $35,000 or more.

One thing we’ve also learned is that this process can move quickly. At any point, we could be chosen by a birth mom, and if that happens, many of the costs become due right away.

Over the next few weeks, our goal is to raise as much as possible toward our overall goal of $40,000 to help ease the financial burden that comes with adoption and to be ready when the time comes.

We’ve started this fundraiser to help bring our baby home, and we’re choosing to lean on our community in a way that feels both vulnerable and hopeful.

Donations made are tax-deductible, and all funds go through a process to ensure they are used specifically for adoption-related expenses.

If supporting us is something you feel led to do, we would be incredibly grateful. And if not, your encouragement, prayers, and love still mean more than we can say.

More than anything, we hope that by inviting you into this process, you’ll see yourself as part of the community we’re building around our child as they grow.

    A little update on us...

    We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we share that we have officially reached our adoption fundraising goal!

    When we began this journey, we knew we couldn't do it alone. Asking for help was not easy, but our village, our family, our friends, and our community showed up for us in ways we never could have imagined. Because of your generosity, encouragement, and support, we are one step closer to bringing our baby home.

    To every person who donated, shared our posts, purchased popcorn from our Double Good fundraiser, joined our fundraising team, sent kind words, offered encouragement, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines, THANK YOU! Every contribution, no matter the size, played a part in helping us reach this milestone.

    A special thank you to everyone who supported our Double Good fundraiser, especially those who joined our team and helped sell popcorn. Your willingness to give your time and energy to our family means more than we can put into words.

    This journey has reminded us just how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such incredible people. Your kindness, generosity, and belief in our family have carried us through some of the most challenging and hopeful moments of this process.

    We've been picked by a birth mom!

    May 20, 2026

    We wanted to share a huge update with everyone who has been supporting us on this journey.

    After months of hoping, waiting, fundraising, and dreaming… we have officially been chosen by a birth mom.

    Typing those words still doesn’t feel real.

    This opportunity means everything to us, but it also comes with a very quick timeline. We have one week to come up with the remaining funds needed for attorney fees and adoption expenses, and right now, we are only halfway there.

    We have been doing everything we can to make this dream possible through our savings, our AdoptTogether page, our Double Good popcorn fundraiser, and the incredible generosity from so many of you. Every donation, share, kind message, and word of encouragement has helped carry us through this process more than you know.

    Right now, we are continuing to do everything we can to bring this baby home.

    Adoption is beautiful, emotional, overwhelming, and expensive all at the same time. But this little life is already so deeply loved, and we are doing everything we can to say “yes” to becoming parents.

    Whether this is your first time supporting us or you feel moved to donate again, every contribution helps bring us one step closer to bringing our baby home.

    We're halfway to $4k!

    We are incredibly grateful to share that we are halfway to $4,000! 🎉 Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has supported us so far. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers mean more than we can put into words.

    As we continue this journey, every single donation brings us one step closer to being able to show our profile to expectant mothers. When we reach that point, we are saying we are ready and open to being chosen. It is both exciting and emotional, because it means we could be matched at any time.

    If we are chosen, funds are expected to be wired within 24 to 72 hours. Not being able to meet that need would mean having to step away from that opportunity and start over, which would be heartbreaking for everyone involved.

    This is why your continued support is so important. Every share, every donation, every prayer, and every kind word is helping move us closer to bringing our baby home.

    Because of your generosity, we’ve officially reached $2,000! Thank you so much for your support 🤍 We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

    In addition, we have our second fundraiser through Double Good Popcorn coming up 🍿 It will open on May 3rd at 5:30 PM and run through May 10th, closing at 5:30 PM.

    We’re still looking for people to join our team to help sell. The more people we have, the better our chances of raising funds for our adoption. As a thank you, whoever sells the most will receive a $75 Amazon gift card.
