With our boys getting older, we are excited to announce we are completing our family with adoption!

Adoption is something that has always been on my heart. While we’ve been on the DSS list for a year, we have decided now to turn to private adoption. We look forward to adding a final Thompson baby to our crew!

In having two children already, the financial situation in private adoption is scary. The estimate we’ve been given is close to $50,000. We’ve learned in our consult that about half of that actually goes to the birth mom for expenses and counseling services, which is much needed!

We are asking for help for half of these expenses as we self-fund this process. Our hope is to be able to have the funds by January to submit our portfolio to the attorney and agency.

This organization is a non-profit, and you should receive a receipt for tax purposes in anything donated. We appreciate everyone supporting us and helping us complete our family!
