We are so excited to share that Brooklyn is going to be a BIG SISTER!

After years of waiting, praying, experiencing heartache, and waiting and praying again, we are beyond grateful to have been matched with an expectant mom who is due at the end of June. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related expenses can easily total up to $35,000 or more, especially after a disrupted adoption like we experienced last year. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around the child that we add to our family. We covet your prayers as we continue this process and are forever grateful for your support.

    She's here!!

    We are excited to share that Blakely Grace has arrived!! She was born on Saturday morning weighing 7 pounds and 13 ounces. We are absolutely smitten, and big sister is so excited! Your love, support, and prayers mean so much to our family, and we cannot thank you all enough for sharing in this journey.

    We’re Getting Closer…

    June 11, 2025

    On Monday, I was able to attend the hospital orientation with the expectant mom we’ve been matched with, and this morning I went to her appointment. The doctor thinks the baby will arrive within the week! My mom is in town, and we are going to paint the nursery today. We are so excited to meet baby girl soon!!
