Seth & Maggie Tuttle
are adopting a child from United States of America
We are thrilled to announce that after almost three years of praying for God to grow our family, experiencing three pregnancy losses, and hitting a dead end with what seems like a closed womb and not wanting to go any further for now, God has opened our hearts toward adoption.
In the summer of 2024, I (Maggie) started thinking about adoption but knew it wasn’t quite the right time for us to consider it. Fast forward to the beginning of 2025. Seth and I started looking into adoption together, I first started looking into resources from Focus on the Family and one of the book recommendations was “Small Town, Big Miracle” by Bishop W.C. Martin. So Seth started reading it to us at night after Daisy went down. It’s an inspiring true story from a small town in Texas where a church took in and adopted 77 children out of foster care. Oh, the stories in that book had us both crying and laughing! Only further melting our heart toward, “Well, I mean, maybe we can do that.”
Simultaneously, we’d gotten to the point in our journey of, “If our friends died tomorrow, we’d be the first to say, pick us! We’ll raise the children!” And through a series of sometimes funny events, God kept directing us toward adoption.
Fast forward to now, we had a consultation at the beginning of December (to the day, 1 year and 1 day after our last loss) with the adoption agency that we’ve chosen to go through for our private domestic adoption. Not even 3 full weeks later and by the generosity of those around us, we are fully funded to start our home study. That happened way sooner than we thought! The home study process is filled with education, background checks, personal interviews, and lots of paperwork to pry into every area of our lives and prove that we’d be good enough parents to adopt. It takes about 2-4 months to complete and then we’ll be a family waiting to be chosen by a birth mama.
That said, we have to raise between $40,000- 60,000 for this adoption. These funds will go toward supporting the mother who will choose our family while she’s pregnant and choosing life for her child (which is the most important thing here and a beautiful way to live out the Gospel as Christians), agency fees, legal fees and all the varied fees that come along in this really big process.
We are thrilled that God has kept this door wide open to our dream of growing our family. My heart can barely handle the thought of Daisy being a big sister. And that I might be entrusted with another baby to love and care for after the losses we’ve experienced and watch my husband grow into a father of two.
We hope that you would share in this same vision with our family, because this is truly bigger than we ever imagined and it’s something that we cannot do alone. We need your love and support whatever ways the Spirit may lead you to give that. It takes a village to raise a child and this specific child, whom we haven’t even met yet, is going to also need a village to get him or her home to us.
Thank you for partnering alongside us in whatever form that may look. We are truly blessed that adoption might even be an option for our family.

Update 3
We are almost home study approved, Lord willing!
June 14, 2026Though it is not reflected on our adopt together profile, we have been able to raise over $9,000 for our adoption so far! We are so thankful for the generous donations of those around us.
We have our final home study meeting with our social worker the beginning of July. And we are so ready to be approved. We are excited to keep saving away, raising funds and applying for grants once we're approved. Soon we will start creating a family profile with our adoption agency, but we personally will not be on the books as an adoptive family until we're able to fully fund the adoption because we prefer to do this debt free. We are simply relying on the Lord in the largest step of faith we've ever taken. It's easier said than done- that's for sure!

Update 2
Two months in... 🥰
January 31, 2026We are two months into our adoption journey and since we had our consultation with the adoption agency, so far the Lord has provided a little over $5,200 toward our journey. Of which, we have used about $2,000 to pay for the home study.
Right now, we have enough for our adoption profile which is $1,000. Once we complete our home study and are approved, we will start working on our profile.
Once our profile is finished, we will be on the books as an adoptive family waiting for a mama to choose us.
Once we are chosen, we have to put $12k- 15k into an escrow account for our birth mom's expenses to care for her and the baby and we will also have to pay $4,000 in adoption agency fees for our wonderful social worker and all those working behind the scenes in this beautiful process.
We are so excited and thankful for the Lord's provision through those around us. May He continue to open doors. Thank you for joining us in this. Please continue to pray for the Lord's provision of this in the next steps and for the future mom and baby that we will get to come along side.

Update 1
Three days into fundraising...
December 26, 2025We've raised $2,150! Although it's not reflected on our fundraising site here. We are so thankful and excited to watch the Lord work in the hearts of those around us. It's no easy feat to raise about $50,000, but God is more than able. Thank you to those that continue to lift us up in prayer!
