We are adopting a child!
We are so excited about this new chapter in our life. We were born to be parents and give our love. We have been doing everything we can to prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
We are a young couple that has been serve so many hard challenges back to back.
In September 2022 we loss our baby girl at 4 months. We were beyond devastated. That miscarriage sent Katisha into End Stage Kidney Failure. She was on dialysis for two years. Until Dec 2024 she was granted a kidney by an anonymous donor. Her kidney function is back to normal and ready to start her family. We decided adoption was the best route for us as a family.
As part of the adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption can cost up to $45,000 or more. This is why we set our goal to $40,000 to help ease the financial burden.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of our journey and community we hope to build around our child as he/she grow up.
