Exciting and big news for our family, WE ARE ADOPTING!!
Through a lot of prayers and a lot of discussion around how the Lord wants to grow our family and grow us, we’ve decided to take the obedient step towards adoption through an agency, Agape of Central Alabama.
We are officially a “waiting family”! Quickly, that means that we are waiting for a placement of a child in our home. It could take months, it could take years, but we are expecting the Lord to do a mighty work in and through us during this time of waiting and preparing our (Jordan, Brittany, and Isaac) hearts, minds, and our home!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily cost up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
It is our prayer that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community that is helping in ways you cannot even imagine, ways that will help strengthen our family and this child as he or she grows!
