We have exciting news! We are growing our family through adoption!
From the beginning of our relationship, adoption has always been on our hearts as a way that we were hoping that God would use to grow our family one day. As many of you know, the past four years have been a long struggle with infertility. After going through multiple treatment protocols, countless medications, numerous operations, and one miraculous two-week pregnancy, we have decided to pursue the equally miraculous route of adoption a little sooner than we had expected.
Although there are a lot of unknowns and risks associated with this, we feel like God has opened these doors and our hearts to adoption. It has been a long year of classes and paperwork, but now that our home study is finally done, we are about to be presented to expectant mothers as prospective adoptive parents!
We are beyond excited and we are preparing in every way we can to welcome this new little one into our family. We appreciate any support you are willing to give to help assist with the high financial costs associated with the adoption process. We invite you to take part in the work the Lord is doing growing our family through adoption and ministering to our new little one's birth parents.
We are blessed to be working with a wonderful agency that keeps costs as low as possible, but the adoption will still cost around $25,000. Thankfully we have been able to cover the majority of the costs so far with our savings and Brayden’s work that offers a reimbursement program for adoption! We are working to raise the remaining $10,000 to cover agency fees and any expenses (medical or otherwise) that will come once the baby is born.
Adoption is very special to God's heart. He calls many of us to participate in this redemptive work, whether that's by adopting ourselves, financially supporting adoptions, or partnering in prayer with adoptive families and birth mothers. However you choose to support us, we hope you feel our gratitude and thankfulness for every prayer, donation, and encouraging word.
