Tyler & Cassie Weber
are adopting a child from United States of America
Tyler and I want to start off by saying how honored we are to be walking into our adoption journey after 5 years of infertility and loss. Our heart posture being here, surrounded by supportive family and friends, our church family, and everyone who has loved us and rooted for us throughout these years, is a miracle in and of itself.
As we were being led toward adoption, we were also healing out loud over on our podcast, One Line Away. The space we created within what’s often called “the worst club with the best people” became so much more than we ever anticipated. Slowly, the many seeds being planted through grief, community, prayer, and surrender began growing into a clear calling we had only ever prayed to hear.
Because of the generosity of our church, we were able to connect with our adoption agency, which also led to receiving our first adoption grant through a foundation our church has a beautiful relationship with. That alone felt like such a confirmation for us in this journey.
To no surprise, adoption also comes with significant financial costs including agency fees, home study expenses, education, legal fees, travel, post-placement requirements, and more. We want to be transparent about that part of the process because stewardship and honesty are top priorities for us.
After exploring different fundraising options, we ultimately chose crowdfunding here because it allows us the fewest limitations and gives us access to funds as needs arise throughout the adoption process. We have a completely separate bank account where any and all funds raised will be allocated solely toward our adoption journey and related expenses.
While we are continuing to work, save, and pursue additional adoption grants and assistance opportunities, we also know we cannot walk this road entirely alone.
If you feel led to support us financially, pray for us, or simply share our story, we truly cannot thank you enough. Every contribution is helping us take one step closer to bringing our future baby home. More than anything, we are endlessly grateful for every person choosing to walk alongside us in this season. 🤍
