Friends,
As most of you know, we have been going through the adoption process for about a year now. There have been a few twists and turns, but we can now so confidently see how the Lord made sure we were in the right place at the right time.
We learned on Monday night that this Sunday, we’ll be picking up our new daughter - an adorable 7 month old baby girl who we’ve named Jojo (we loved thinking about how in the story of Joseph, God works hard things in his life for His plan and the flourishing of His people).
With the quick process of only “waiting” for about 6 weeks and just a few days notice before picking Jojo up, we’ve been working hard this week to get “fully funded” for our adoption.
The total cost of our adoption is $24,000. These fees go to our agency (New Life Adoptions) to pay their operating costs, cover the costs for birth moms and babies, and to support women facing unplanned pregnancies who need various types of support, but who may not choose to place their baby for adoption.
We’ve already seen the provision of the Lord through the generosity of our community! Yet, we are still working to raise $8,500 for our adoption to be fully funded.
If you feel led, you can support our adoption on this site! With that being said, we don’t want you to feel pressure to donate. Regardless, we are asking that you pray for our family in this transition! For Jojo as she makes the transition into our home, for us and the kids, and for Jojo’s birth mom.
