We reconnected at our 10-year high school reunion where God brought us together and began to traverse the path for us to grow our family. God told Kyle “that is your life right there”, when I walked through the door to the venue of our event. We talked about how we both always wanted to be parents. After the various medical treatments were completed over the course of a couple of years, we received our final test results. With broken hearts, we were told to adjust our expectations of becoming parents naturally.

Our next steps involved a lot of prayer. We took the necessary time to grieve, not being able to have our own biological children. This was heart breaking for us both at different times during this journey. We didn’t understand the plan God had for us to grow our family. When the dust settled, we believe that God answered our prayers and brought us to adoption.

To go through this adventure with you, would mean answering God’s call for this child. To care for, to love, to support, and raise a child brought to us by God is a treasure. Our prayers are to fill our home with a new love that only parenthood can provide. We want to create new family memories and add to the traditions we shared with our families.

We’ve learned throughout this process that adoption requires more financial support and appreciate every monetary blessing provided to be able to bring home our future child. We also request that you pray and think of the birth mom that will be making the decision to choose us to be parents. And while there are many unknowns to be revealed, we continue to trust God.
