We have tickets to China!!
As some of you know, we are in the process of adopting one-year-old twins through the China Special Needs Program. Our twins will be babies #5 and #6 in our family and will bring us to a Brady-Bunch perfect three boys and three girls. We are beyond excited to meet our new son and daughter at the beginning of September.
We have been blessed in some amazing ways during our adoption process. We started this journey thinking we'd be adopting one little one, and we feel doubly thrilled to add twins to our family. Through fundraisers, grants, and our own savings, we have already come up with over $40,000 to pay for the costs associated with our adoption.
As we get ready to travel, we are facing some final fees and expenses. We set up this campaign to allow family, friends, and others to partner with us in crossing this final financial hurdle. We've set a goal of $3,500 to help with these costs.
In raising our four children, we've learned that parenting is not something we can do alone. Our children are privileged to be surrounded by a huge community of those who love, support, and nurture them. We hope that by inviting you into our process, you will see yourself as part of that community for our twins.
