Hi! We’re David and Jessica! We’re college sweethearts and have been married 14 years and together going on 21 years. Met at community college and got engaged before Jess graduated getting her Bachelor’s in Education. Then we were married the following year. We are both from central Maryland, born and raised. We now live in a small town while most of his family is in the region, and her family is mostly on the southern coast of North Carolina.

We are a Christian family and have been raised in the faith growing up. This is very much of a home that loves Jesus, the Bible and going to church.

Ever since before we started dating we’ve talked about having kids. From 2017 to early 2020 we tried the path of fertility treatments to little success. Jess always knew she’d struggle as she had cancer as a kid with a long medical history. Ever since late 2023 into 2024 we have been called to adopt. Ever since starting on our journey to adopt, we’ve realized we’re surrounded by families that their stories include adoption as well and or fostering.

We’re raising funds to be able to adopt a child. In addition to seeking donations, we’re also fundraising in different ways as well. If we exceed our fundraising efforts we would love to pay it forward and bless another family.
