We are seeking to complete our family through adoption. We know that raising a family takes a community of support. Adoption requires even more of that community support, whether it be navigating the mandated process with social workers or through learning about a child's culture through exploring transracial adoption issues. Beyond the time commitment, the financial cost of adoption is very high with costs ranging from $20,000-40,000. We have begun our travel planning for our trip to Texas in anticipation of our expectant mother's due date coming up next month. We are very excited plans are moving forward as anticipated and looking forward to bringing home the newest member of our family.
