In case you haven't heard —
We are adopting a child!
The road to get here has been filled with the twists and turns of infertility. At times, we felt like the opportunity to be parents and share our love with a child may have passed us by. But God wasn’t finished writing our story yet.
As of this year, Rodney and I have been married for 12 years and together for a total of 17 years. The foundations of love, mutual respect and communication are laid, and we are ready to bless our home with a child to call our own. Maximus, our 6-year-old Mastiff, is anxiously awaiting his chance to be a big brother!
The cost of domestic infant adoption in the US can range from $20k-$40k. This hefty price tag helps to cover the state approval process, medical bills and care for the birth mother, attorney fees, and a multitude of other costs along the way. To see the total cost is a bit daunting, but we know God is faithful. He is not going to take us this far not to see it through to the end
Here is how you can help: Pray for us and with us. Matthew 18:19-20 reads, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them…”
Contribute any amount you can to help bring our baby home to us. We are grateful for any gift no matter how big or small. (Donations through our Adopt Together site are tax deductible, and can only be used for adoption related expenses)
We cannot wait to hold a sweet baby in our arms. We cannot wait to send them off to school for the first time or see them achieve a goal. We are parents without a child, so we hope you will help us make this dream a reality. Thank you for being a part of our family's story!
