WE'RE ADOPTING!
This journey has been unfolding for some time, and we are overjoyed to finally share the news with everyone.
Adoption is EXPENSIVE. We were initially surprised with the cost. However, this hasn't deterred us from following the path God has set for us to start our family. We have faith He will provide, and we are committed to this calling. If He has said it, He will do it. God is faithful to provide, always.
There are a multitude of reasons why adoption is so expensive. Home study fees, lawyer fees for both you and the expectant mother, the expectant mother's medical expenses, as well as providing anything from rent to food and clothing for the expectant mother while pregnant. Many babies are born with challenges at birth that no child should go through. Such as, addiction to drugs, fetal alcohol syndrome, or both, which requires additional care. Adoption is a journey filled with unexpected challenges and heartbreaking circumstances. Adoption can range anywhere between 35,000-80,000- sometimes more depending on the case.
