Howdy! As you might have guessed, we're adopting!
Donnie's family has been blessed through the gift of adoption and this has taught us that love makes a family, not biology. Growing a family in this way has always been on our hearts. After suffering infertility struggles, we felt this was our sign to proceed with adoption.
We are in the midst of the joyful blur that is officially stepping into adoption and are doing everything we can to be prepared for all that is to come on this journey. As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. Our estimated international adoption costs for one child are $41,580 - $55,955. This is why we have set a goal of $40,000 to help ease the initial financial burden that we will encounter. The funds collected here will go towards offsetting the upfront costs associated with international adoption including home study, international travel, and extended stays in Georgia. Please note that your donation is tax deductible.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and would appreciate you helping us spread the word on your social media platforms, with your church families, friends, neighbors, or anyone you think would be interested in our journey.
We can't express how excited (and maybe a little terrified) we are to become parents – to provide a home to a precious child. Nova and Peanut, our fur babies, cannot wait to welcome their new sister or brother home.
With Love, Donnie & Misha

We have officially completed our first 10 hours of required parenting training! We're trying to learn a bit of the native language so that we will be able to communicate, boy is that an adventure! Fun fact: Mother is 'deda' and Father is 'mama'
Much love,
mama and deda :)
We were able to breathe a gentle sigh of relief as we officially finished all the initial paperwork for our Home Study this afternoon! Now on to our first round of parenting classes. Slow yet steady progress towards our goal.
Stay tuned! More exciting updates to follow.
Much love,
Donnie and Misha
