Sometimes all that God requires of us is to say yes. Carey Michael and I have been battling infertility for close to 6 years now. We were about to start another round of tests and procedures when we were approached about possibly adopting a child. That situation fell through as of now but it put us on the path that God wanted and we said yes. We are now on an adoption journey. We know that this is exactly what God wants of us and that he has a specific child that he has ordained to be ours. We are praying for that child and the child's birth parents daily. We don't know our child yet but already love them. We cannot wait to become parents. We are stepping out and faithfully saying yes and are waiting to see what doors God will open for us. Please pray for us during this time as the requirements and cost are daunting but we know that God's plan is the best plan. We are waiting to be matched with a child. Most adoption situation's that have been brought to our attention have estimated costs at 35,000 and up. We know we cannot do this alone and believe that God will provide what is needed, when it is needed. To Him be all the glory! He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
Thank you all so much for your support so far. We have been accepted to work with an agency and are currently in the process of completing some training to become an active family with the agency and await a match.
