I John 3:16-18 After participating in a program hosting orphans from the Ukraine over the Christmas holidays we decided we want to open our home and our hearts to one of those children. We want to give a child a home that will last forever. We are in the process of adopting "S" 15 years old from the Ukraine. Some of you are probably wondering what has prompted us to adopt, a teenage boy and why the Ukraine? We have felt so clearly directed by God to do this, we want to obey Him. We also want to give "S" the family he not only wishes for, but deserves. God desires for orphans of all nations to be loved, cared for and adopted into Christian families. Ultimately, so they can be adopted into His eternal family through Jesus Christ.There are so many things God has used to soften our hearts and move us to adopt. "It is not the will of your Father that one of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14 "In you the fatherless find mercy." Hosea 14:4 The biggest obstacle for us is not opening our hearts, help us overcome the financial hurdle that currently stands between us and our son. Your contribution will help this process more than you can imagine, no matter how big or how small it may be. Help us bring our child home.
